Each of us has a natural network: Family, friends, and people with whom we relate personally and professionally. However, your intentional network is that group of contacts you recruit, maintain and cultivate strategically and specifically and with whom you should correspond.
Intentional networks are mutually beneficial relationships based on relationship, trust, and mutual benefit.
I always give this advice about finding people who are smarter than you: “In professional circles it’s called networking. In organizations, it’s called team building. And in life, it’s called family, friends, and community.”
