I am planning on starting a digital marketing agency. I have good work experience in the field and am pretty confident about my work.

The problem is when I am meeting potential clients, as I don’t have a portfolio currently the clients are not trusting me with their work and I am not able to convert.

Every company starts with a portfolio of Zero clients. How the hell I am supposed to make them understand

Hello, I know things are difficult at first. Don’t lose hope. You can consult someone from your friends and family and ask them for references. There might be someone among them who are looking for a digital marketing agency. It would be easier for them to trust you in that case. All the best!!!

To start with a few basics, you can just be more involved in your community. Since it is your first time, getting a client would be easier if they know you from before and have, if not more, but a slight trust in you. Get yourself involved in the business community for others to know your name. Instead of making your competitors enemy, try to collaborate with them. This will help you grow as a brand. Also, this will increase your learning. Go for a good PR as it helps in spreading the word about you and your business. And lastly, just be truthful to your clients and to your work. will surely succeed my friend!
