Which platform performs the best for an e-commerce store in terms of speed and overall performance. I am confused between Magento or BigCommerce? Which one should I choose?

A platform is the foundation of any online business. So, choosing the right e-commerce platform is very important. Both BigCommerce and Magento are two great platforms, but they do have some important differences. They are different in terms of functionality, pricing structures and ease of integration.

It would be better if you go through both and then choose one depending on your requirements, functionality and price.

Hey, Magento or Big Commerce both are good in terms of overall performance. But there is one basic difference between these two. The functionality of Magneto is little complicated. You will have to face difficulties if you are not a programmer while Big Commerce is easy to use. You can work on it without the hassles of coding or any other technical hurdles.

Hey, both are great platforms. But, when it comes to choosing one among these two, then it’s better if you analyze your needs first and then select one which fit most according to your needs and preference.

Magento had more competitive entry-level plan options than BigCommerce, so it’s a good choice for startups as it’s comparatively cheaper.

BigCommerce is a SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud-based solution whereas Magento is a PaaS (Platform as a Service) open source solution. Where Magento is an open-source platform, they give everyone access to modify Magneto’s web-store. On the other hand, BigCommerce gives an out-of-the box solution. They take care of setting up and hosting your Webstore. One major difference between the two is BigCommerce takes care of the PCI compliance themselves so that you can safeguard your customer’s payment info. whereas in Magento you have to meet the PCI compliant standards yourself. I guess this gives you a more clear view of which platform to choose.

    Good Luck!

Both the E-commerce platforms Magento and Bigcommerce have them. Selecting the best platform depends on your needs and the marketplace you want to create as they come with extensive features and add ons that can be customized.

Shopify. Shopify is arguably the most popular ecommerce partner among online shop owners

Volusion. Launched way back in 1999, Volusion was one of the earliest players in the ecommerce arena.
